As a Kwon Jang Nim, I turn white belts into black belts in TaeKwonDo and as a senior engineer do the same in manufacturing.

Having decades of experience with folks beginning their journey in both disciplines, and having been supported by such prestige agencies as NYSERDA, WDI of NY, and CESMII, I have applied my teaching, problem solving, and hands-on operational skills, to effectively upskill pre-digital small-medium size manufacturers (SMEs) rapidly to become data-savvy, Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 organizations.
My objective is to implement G-WPO's unique teaching method non-disruptively, persuasively, and intuitively to workers/techs/supervisors/owners in manufacturing and other departments across the company spectrum. This effective upskilling approach results in increased throughput and profitability, reduced waste and down-time, and a motivated workforce enjoying better jobs.
My career has also included strong environmental control and energy management experience. I have conducted successful projects covering aspects of air and water polllution control, solid and hazardous waste management, energy utilization and optimization, sensors and automation.
Education: Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Engineering from Cornell University. Years of martial arts study with Grandmaster Hyun Ok Shin.
